We understand here at Changing Smiles that affording dental work can be a challenge, especially for our patients on a limited income. Some of our services like dental implants are deemed as purely cosmetic by many insurance companies, so they often aren’t covered and have to be paid for entirely out of pocket. Some insurances might cover the crown portion or cover tooth extractions if deemed necessary, but the dental implant placement surgery is normally considered an elective procedure. At Changing Smiles, we want all of our patients to have the opportunity to receive the care and the smile they deserve, so our office does accept Care Credit as a way of financing your dental implant treatment if you feel it is the right choice for you.
CareCredit is primarily an option for patients seeking dental implants, as they currently do not cover dentures at this time. CareCredit is a way of financing out-of-pocket medical (including dental) treatments and procedures not covered by insurance with a credit card. It covers a large list of procedures between preventative dentistry and restorative & cosmetic dentistry. This includes dental implants, ceramic crowns, teeth cleanings, tooth repairs, mouth guards, and 6-month checkups. Receiving a CareCredit card is subject to approval, but you can finance your dental implants with short-term or long-term monthly payments.
Paying for dental treatments can be a tough thing to accept paying for, but improving your smile goes beyond just improving your appearance. It affects your confidence and how you live your life and interact with others. It has a big impact on your overall health and wellness, so we promise that it’s worth the cost if you are on the fence. Especially when it comes to dental implants, they’ll change your life and your health!
Implants have many benefits that make them worth every penny, one of the biggest benefits is the normalcy they bring back to your life. Since tooth loss can be devastating and a pain to navigate, dentures may not give you that sense of normalcy you might be craving. Dental implants act, feel, and look just how your natural teeth would. Once you receive your implants and your crowns, you treat them just as you would your natural teeth. You’ll come see us a few times a year for checkups and you’ll brush and floss your teeth the same. They’re secure in your mouth (no dental adhesive unlike dentures) so you’ll experience a better bite, improved taste, and it’ll be easier to speak. As long as you take care of them properly, they’ll more than likely last you a lifetime.
So, if you’re looking into dental implants and want to see if they’re the right option for you; come visit us! We offer free consultations and we can determine if you’re a good candidate and we can help you figure out how to afford treatment. While many insurance companies consider dental implant placement surgery to be elective and not medically necessary, we try to be flexible with our patients by accepting CareCredit as a means of payment. You deserve a beautiful smile and we want to help by changing your life and your smile for the better.
